GOD IS…
Creator, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST IS…
Lord, God in the flesh, who lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people. He rose from the dead to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He then ascended to heaven and will return in power and glory.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS…
equal with the Father and the Son as God. He makes us aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian and provides power and direction for living. We strive to live under His control daily.

THE BIBLE IS…
God’s infallible Word to all people, written by human authors under the supernatural inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

MANKIND IS…
made in the spiritual image of God to reflect his character. Though people are God’s greatest creation they are tainted by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference that separates them from God. The Bible calls this sin.

SALVATION IS…
by grace, through faith. We can never make up for our sins by being better or doing more. Salvation cannot be earned and is a free gift from God to all people. We are saved from sin’s penalty by trusting in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice.

ETERNITY IS…
how long we were created to be with God. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or live eternally connected with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is a place called hell. To be eternally connected with him is a place called heaven.

THE CHURCH IS…
the Body of Christ on earth. It includes those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It exists to purposefully share the good news of new life in Jesus Christ to the world, to teach his followers to obey his teachings, and to train his followers to live with an eternal mindset.

COFFEE IS…
a wonderful elixir best enjoyed in a good mug…black, with no foofy stuff.  [This is just an opinion]
